Who We Are?
The Iranian Chapter of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) is an organization that helps improve the clinician’s need and synergistic growth of between clinical and research communities, by assisting professionals and scientists and sharing up-to-date knowledge in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).The Iranian chapter of ISMRM models its own targets, mission, and road-map based on the ISMRM indexes and tries to localizes them according to the Iranian culture
This chapter was established in 2014 with the official permission of the ISMRM following the continuous activities of a group of inside and outside Iranian prominent scientists and physicians in the MRI field between 2008 and 2014. This organization will try to perform both of educational and promotional activities, and developing practical programs, helps improve the international communications and expand research if the field, too.
Secretariat office
The Iranian chapter secretariat has been formed for planning, arranging the organizing meetings, communicating with different persons who are outside the organization, scheduling time and place, formation of executive, financial, and educational committees, following up audiences’ needs, and answering the relevant questions. The most important achievements including:
- Establishment of 4 professional committees
- Cooperation with 13 national and international societies
- Holding more than 50 educational courses and review and create new topics with the aim of improving the quality of research in the MRI scope
- Attracting active members in the mentioned specialized committees consisting of researchers, clinicians, students, and respected professors of the country
